How Rife Works
The Resonant Frequency Concept
Did you know some people can shatter glass just by singing at a certain tone and volume? This is called resonant frequency. Everything vibrates — including glass, metal, wood and even unwanted microbes in the body.
Rife therapy explores whether we can match the resonant frequency of an unwanted microbe and, in a way, 'sing it till it shatters'. This is a simplified illustration of the theory — popular with those investigating support for cancer and other chronic conditions.
The Science Behind Rife
The Extraordinary Story of Royal Raymond Rife
About 100 years ago, Royal Raymond Rife, an American inventor, became interested in the biological effects of electromagnetic fields. He built a Universal Microscope in 1933 reportedly capable of 60,000x magnification — allowing him to observe live pathogens for the first time. He developed a 'Beam Ray' device that he believed could destroy pathogens by matching their unique electromagnetic frequency — much like an opera singer shattering a wine glass.
In a 1934 clinical study, Dr Millbank Johnson tested Rife's device on 16 terminal cancer patients. After three months, 15 had reportedly fully recovered. However, the research was not published, and Rife's work faced significant opposition from the medical establishment. Much of his research was subsequently lost.
Today there is no scientific consensus on Rife therapy, and it is banned in some countries. At Brilin, we present Rife as an experimental option, and our clients make their own informed decisions.
