Brilin has been a very helpful support for the challeges of Hashimoto's.Having gone through some very low times, especially very low energy, inflamation, foggy brain, memory loss and a variety of digestive issues, i was unable to keep up meaningful social time with family and friends.With the possibility of moving to New Brighton next year from Australia and having family living here, in my research I discovered Brilin.The holistic approach of treating people at a cellular level really made sense when you're struggling with an auto immune issue.I had previously heard of a Hyperbaric Chamber (airpod hydroxy therapy) and it's value in overall health and well being, and the Bioptron treatment also looked promising.After listening to a number of Brilin's videos explaining some of their equipment, and listening to some "real testimonies" (honest and down to earth), i felt encouraged that there may be some hope for improvement in this long health journey.The trip over from Australia was extremely draining and very revealing as to the little energy resource i really had available since i was away from a very slow paced managed life back home.Still being exhausted when first attending the comprehensive consult with William, was overwhelming and difficult for me to take in as there was alot of knowledge and information shared.I was very happy to discover the comprensive testing and volume of helpful knowledge and advise from William had been sent to my email for me to take my time, go over and follow up.I had originally written to Brilin sharing a deep hope and desire that i might atleast be able to have some quality time with my children and precious grandchildren in this last season of life.After only 2 treatments of Hyperbaric Chamber, i experienced a lovely calming relaxed feeling and increased energy.So much so, that i'm currently enjoying 1 of 7 grandchildren per day on special one on one outings and activities that i haven't participated in for a long time. I’ve been having hourly sessions in the oxygen pod at 1.35psi for the past 2 week and have noticed my recovery and energy levels have been improving and my stamina is extending. I’m far more aware of my surroundings the energy before the fatigue hits is improving . I cut my self with a sharp knife 2 weeks ago as I was cutting a large kūmara and my hands were wet and slipped off the knife, then later that day I fell plantar face on the ground when I tripped and couldn’t lift my foot up when I was carrying some wood in my left arm , Literally my leg wouldn’t lift and clipped and I hit the ground head first . I was also bitten by a dog on the forearm by 5 pm same day so literally one incident after the other . The wound healing is amazing with this latest bang to the head , the inside of my hand sliced and a puncture wound from a dog bite . Which became red and infected and I only used oil of cloves and oxygen therapy, no antibiotics to see if it would heal up with out giving my gut a hard time .The last three photos are now after 2 weeks of oxygen therapyMy sleep has improved immensely and I’ve stopped my norflex BD and only had one PRN diazepam 0.5 mg and one stemitil 5mg once in 3 weeks I’m looking forward to mor therapy and see if I can start walking further distance and engage in more evening classes which I’ve struggled for 18 months as my energy was so low I couldn’t participate or take on board new information and had literally no energy to drive homeWatch this space in the next 4 weeksI’d like to be back climbing and tramping and increasing my work hoursJudith

Hi , I attended the Brilin clinic in April this year , 2025 , for 20 - ninty minute sessions in their new Hyroxypod , I have stage 4 breast cancer and was feeling very tired , lacking energy and found it difficult to walk for too long as my legs would ache badly , I had only attended 4 sessions when I started to notice a difference in my whole feeling of well being , my family were the first to comment to me that they were amazed at how much energy I suddenly had and how my mood had picked up , I was more like my old self , happy , joking , energetic and most of all could walk around easily with no pain at all , I felt great 😀 there is no doubt that this was from the direct effect of the Hydroxypod , I live out of town so it wasn't possible for me to continue regular sessions in the future so I purchased one of the clinics oxygen water bottles to take home with me in order to keep the supply of oxygen in my blood and it has proved to be very useful to keep my energy up in between times when I can get back to Christchucrh for more sessions .I would highly recommend anyone who wants to improve their health or mental well being to give it a go , I guarantee you would not be disappointed , Hilary Hart 😄

So the light therapy has been amazing, completely reduced inflammation in an injury that has not responded to resting and physiotherapy exercises. Unfortunately I can not tolerate anti-inflammatory medication so there were no drug related options for me to reduce the inflammation. The Bioptrin light is completely safe and penetrated to the injured soft tissue in my arm. Highly recommend this treatment.

Earlier in 2025 I had been diagnosed with stage 3B metastatic melanoma. I heard about Brilin through word of mouth. Two things convinced me to consult with them; 1. After my second surgery where the biopsy showed stage 3 cancer, the hospital 'lost' my file and didn't follow up with me for treatment at all. Even after 6 months I had not yet had my first appointment with oncology.2. Brilin's approach was everything. Testing the body to understand the real time conditions to see what has allowed for the cancer to grow, and then to specifically address and target those conditions.I believed in this approach and desired to take my care and recovery into my own hands, as the public health system had so let me down. I used the Bioptron light on my senior spoodle after eye surgery, and her eyes healed much faster with consistent use — she even seemed to regain some sight, which amazed us.I also treated my daughter’s leg after a spider bite became red, inflamed, and slow to heal. I’ve had multiple surgeries on my knee, including a full replacement that developed a lifetime infection. After my most recent surgery, my surgeon recommended another procedure where a concrete spacer with slow releasing antibiotics was placed to help fight the infection.During this recovery period, I used the Bioptron light, and I can honestly say it made a big difference. It noticeably sped up my healing compared to my previous surgeries, out of the 10 I’ve had, this was by far the best recovery experience. After researching the effects and outcomes of using a Bioptron light, I decided to get a loan hand held device from the Brilin Functional Medicine Centre initially for my senior spoodle dog who had had surgery on her eyes for corneal abrasions who was in a lot of discomfort. I was amazed at how quickly they healed using the Bioptron light consistently. She seemed to get partial sight back, we were delighted.I then used light therapy on my daughters leg where she had a large blister wound, turned out to be a spider bite, initially she left it to try and heal on its own, however the wound became red, inflamed, infected and was getting quite big and unsightly, it was taking too long to heal, after using the Bioptron light consistently it was starting to dry up, the redness around the bite mark slowly went and was healing so much faster, it has taken a few weeks for it to heal well, but worth the effort.The light is a fantastic tool to have and would love to have one in the family medical kit.I could only find one place to loan the light and I have to say the support from Brilin medicine centre has been fantastic and would highly recommend trialling from them.The Bioptron Light has so many uses, I even used it on my two grandchildren (3yr old and 7mth) to help build their immune systems from coughs and colds over winter.Absolute great device!!!

I started using the Alpha Stim about a year ago as I was learning about different ways to support myself with long covid (suggested in the book ‘The Long Covid Handbook’ by Medinger and Altmann). As long covid seems to impact many systems in the body, especially the nervous system, using this kind of a device made sense a tool that could possibly help with pacing. I can only speak to my experience, but I have found it very useful for pacing and reducing the stress load on my nervous system.
